An almost hundred-year-old house, transformed with passion into a guesthouse, where every stone continues to tell the stories of the Djerbian families who once lived there. Rooted for 20 years in HARA SGHIRA, a place now famous and better known as "DjerbaHood", our house remains a "must" to stay at in Djerba.
Carefully renovated in 2026 by your hosts, Lotfi and Isabelle, each of our five rooms is ready to welcome you in unparalleled comfort and refined luxury.
The loving renovation respected the traditional architecture with its thick earthen walls, intricate stucco work, and hidden courtyards. At the same time, bright, welcoming suites with modern bathrooms and all the comfort travelers appreciate today were created.

Every morning, our guests enjoy a traditional Tunisian breakfast with homemade bread, regional olive oil, and fresh mint tea – just as Bibine once prepared for her guests.

Who is Bibine?
1925 - 2015""She is Isabelle's grandmother and the namesake of Dar Bibine""
BBibine was born in 1925 in Houmt Souq and was known far beyond her family for her warmth and open door. At a time when tourism on Djerba was still in its infancy, she already opened her home to travelers, offering them tea, accommodation, and above all: a feeling of home away from home.
Her granddaughter Isabelle spent every summer vacation with her and learned not only Tunisian cuisine but also the philosophy of hospitality: 'A guest is a gift from God' – this phrase became Isabelle's guiding principle for her later life.
When Bibine passed away in 2015 at the age of 90, she left behind not just a house but a legacy. Isabelle didn't hesitate long and transformed the ancestral family home into Dar Bibine – as a tribute to her grandmother and to carry her tradition of hospitality into the present day.
